Linda Lee Foltz is a published author, child advocate, national speaker, director of marketing and residential property manager. She is currently working on her 2nd book, a Memoir, Making Sense of the Madness (working title).  Although a very differnt genre, once complete she is confident her marketing expertise, boundless energy, and unwavering dedication will again result in success.

Her first book Kids Helping Kids Break the Silence of Sexual Abuse 2003 Lighthouse Point Press) tells the true stories of 15 amazing young people who have overcome abuse. This powerful book is both an intervention and therapy tool for professionals working with sexually abused children as well as an educational tool for parents who want to teach their children what sexual abuse is and how to stay safe.

Kids Helping Kids Break the Silence of Sexual Abuse has received prestigious endorsements from professionals around the county, including from Jack Canfield, co-author of #1 NY Times Best Selling Series, “Chicken Soup for the Soul,”  Dr. Robert Brooks, (Harvard Medical School) co-author of “Raising Resilient Children,” Dr. Timothy Murphy, PA Congressman, Practicing Child Psychologist and author of “The Angry Child,” Nancy Wells, Executive Director of the Center for Victims of Violent Crime, B.J. Horn, Executive Director of The Pittsburgh Action Against Rape, and many others. It has also received numerous outstanding reviews from highly regarded publications and agencies across the country such as the School Library Journal, the Child Welfare Journal, and the Washington Post, and has been listed as a recommended resource by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

Linda has spoken at child abuse conferences across the country. Articles that she and others have written about her first book have appeared in trade journals and national magazines including America’s Family Resource, Seventeen and Teen Voices. Linda has also appeared on local and national radio and television including The Montel Williams Show.

Linda has been employed in residential real estate since 1986. She has held her current position, Director of Marketing and Sales, in her family owned land development and new construction company, for the past 18 years. She also manages 13 rental properties (a number she is grateful is down from 32).

    Thanks for visiting this page and having the courage to leave a message. I was surprised to study the stats and learn that I’ve had ten times the hits on this blog, but almost no comments. A real sign of the discomfort and lack of open communication. If adults aren’t comfortable learning about sexual abuse and discussing ways to keep our kids safe, how can we ever expect our kids to come forward and let us know they are in danger! Your kids are lucky to have such a strong parent! Linda
